Examples of strengths include unique/better products or services, an established customer base, a good reputation in the marketplace, strong management, experience and know how, experienced employees, ownership of patents and trademarks, or anything else that sets you apart from the competition.
- Weaknesses: These are the areas which makes you or your products/services/brand vulnerable to compete in the marketplace. Weaknesses might include slow agility in a rapid change environment, lack of expertise and market understanding, employee and management problems, high turnover, lack of capital, bad location, poor products or services, a damaged reputation, and so on.

- Threats: Threats are the things that could adversely affect a business.
