Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Statement

Responsible, ethical, and sustainable operations across FCI's global coaching activities.

Flow Coaching Institute (FCI®) is committed to responsible, ethical, and sustainable operations across its global coaching and leadership development activities. We believe that building inclusive, psychologically safe, and high-performing organizations through coaching is itself a contribution to a more sustainable and equitable world — and we are committed to ensuring our own operations reflect the values we bring to every client engagement.

Environmental Responsibility

FCI operates as a virtual-first organization, delivering the majority of its coaching, training, and facilitation services through secure digital platforms including Zoom and Microsoft Teams. This operating model significantly reduces travel requirements and associated environmental impact for both FCI and our clients.

FCI maintains a largely paperless workflow, with all program materials, coaching documentation, and administrative processes managed through cloud-based systems. The organization does not operate large-scale physical infrastructure, manufacturing facilities, or logistics operations, resulting in a minimal direct environmental footprint.

Where in-person engagements are required, FCI applies a considered and responsible approach to travel and resource use, prioritizing efficiency and environmental awareness.

FCI is committed to continuous improvement in its environmental practices and reviews its environmental commitments annually to reflect any material changes in our operations.

Social Responsibility

FCI places Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Psychological Safety at the core of its coaching philosophy and organizational practice. These principles — embodied in FCI's D.N.A. — are embedded in every aspect of our program design, faculty development, coach training, and client engagement.

FCI works with a diverse range of individuals and organizations across the public sector, private sector, and non-profit community. Our coaching team reflects the diversity we champion, representing a wide spectrum of cultural backgrounds, gender identities, languages, and lived experiences.

FCI has delivered government-funded coaching and leadership development programs for marginalized and underserved communities for over eight years, including programs for newcomer women, employment services participants, and underrepresented professionals across Ontario — in partnership with Dixon Hall Employment Services, Employment Ontario, and the City of Toronto. FCI has also delivered dedicated DEI and Inclusive Leadership programs for organizations across Canada and internationally, with measurable outcomes including significant increases in executive DEI confidence and organizational DEI alignment.

All FCI coaches and faculty adhere to the International Coaching Federation's ethical and professional standards, including its DEIJB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging) framework — as a non-negotiable condition of practice.

Governance and Ethical Practice

As an ICF-accredited coaching school holding both Level 1 and Level 2 program accreditation — the highest standards of coaching education recognized globally — FCI upholds rigorous institutional standards of professional practice, ethics, and quality assurance across all programs and services.

FCI operates in full alignment with the International Coaching Federation's Code of Ethics and maintains strict standards for confidentiality, data protection, and professional conduct in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

All coaching engagements are governed by formal coaching and confidentiality agreements, ensuring clarity, accountability, and ethical delivery standards in every engagement. FCI's Founder and CEO provides organizational oversight and quality assurance across all programs, ensuring consistent adherence to FCI's professional, ethical, and governance standards.

Our Commitment

FCI is committed to ongoing improvement in our environmental, social, and governance practices — proportionate to our organizational size and consistent with our values as a human-centred, purpose-driven institute. This statement is reviewed and updated annually.
