Executive & Mindful Leadership Coach Mentor Coach, Facilitator
Education and Experience
Jennifer Sellers is a master certified coach who has been coaching since 2002. As an executive coach, facilitator, and author, she is an expert in many areas including conscious leadership development. She has experience with extenuating circumstances such as developing high potentials, coaching executives with abrasive conduct, and working with teams in conflict. Jen’s areas of expertise also include leadership mastery (best leadership practices for authentic and powerful expression), executive presence (articulating, exemplifying, and animating a vision), practical inspiration (experimenting, reflecting, and guiding others), and positive-turn around (moving an abrasive individual or conflicted team in the direction of collaboration, development, and a trusting climate).
Jen partners with leaders to gain a clear view of their own thinking; to master new interpersonal skills; to tap into resources inside themselves, their organizations, and their larger network; and to commit to action that leads to innovation. She has developed leaders for The Nature Conservancy, Freeport-McMoRan Copper and Gold, Accenture, IBM, the US Department of Justice, the Tucson Airport Authority, and many other businesses and non-profits.
Jen was employed for 10 years by corporations such as Hughes and Raytheon under contract to NASA, where she facilitated groups and teams in NASA’s Learning Technologies Project. Her leadership, strong project management, and knowledge of the educational arena insured a well-run project with high visibility at NASA and the US Department of Education, with both national and international reach.
Jen is the co-author of ‘Pause: 52 Ways to Shift Any Outcome in Less Than a Minute’, a book about practical mindfulness practices for leaders. She is also a contributing author to ‘The Handbook of Knowledge-based Coaching’. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education. In her first career, she enjoyed thirteen years in both the public schools grades seven through twelve and in adult education.
