Education and Experience
Souzan Bachir is a Professional Certified Coach who obtained her credentials through the International Coach Federation (ICF) in 2009. After she graduated from the Business Management department at the Middle East Technical University, she gained her Masters degree in International Business Management from Yeditepe University in 2002. In addition to being vice president of the ICF Turkey Chapter, Souzan is an experienced consultant, coach, and trainer on emotional awareness, relationship management, intercultural communication, and team coaching. She designs and implements team and executive coaching training and leadership workshops both in Turkey and for multi-national companies around the world. Souzan gives coaching and consultancy services in English, Arabic, and Turkish.
Souzan began her professional career at United Nations Development Programme as a Project Supervisor. She went on to gain experience as the Project Coordinator at United Nations World Food Programme and as an Ambassador’s Press Consultant at the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic. She then moved to Istanbul in 1996 and started to work in Temsa Termomekanik Sanayi Inc. as an export specialist. At this time she was appointed to the position of Regional Manager in charge of Middle East and North Africa and eventually served as the International Marketing Manager. In 2003 she established Su Foreign Trade Marketing and Consultancy Company with a focus on international marketing consultancy.
Souzan’s professional development includes coaching training by the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), training in ‘Co-Active Coaching’ and ‘Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching’, and is a graduate of the co-action leadership program at the Coaches Training Institute. She is certified as an assessor and facilitator of Neo Pi-R Personality Inventory along with an administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory. In 2012 Souzan completed a certificate in Process Oriented Psychology and in 2013 she trained in Advanced Neuroscience Coaching, Transactional Analysis, Coaching Supervision, and Coaching Psychology.
Personal Values
Souzan was born in Aleppo, Syria. Her multinational education and experience has provided her with many hours of intercultural coaching. She is a volunteer coach for students at the Association for Supporting Contemporary Life at the ICF in Turkey. She has also organized various workshops on leadership and awareness, along with time management and planning, presented to both students and other woman and mothers.
Since 2006, Souzan has acquired more than 2500 coaching hours in executive coaching, team coaching, and personal coaching. She enjoys speaking at worldwide conferences regarding coaching cultural diversity, international opportunities, and systems coaching. With her colorful personality, optimistic point of view ,and clarity of vision, Souzan motivates and inspires others. She is a successful life coach who motivates her clients to keep in line with their goals.
