Education and Experience
Sue Sheldon is the training and development director at the FLOW Coaching Institute. She is a compassionate and energetic coach, consultant, and facilitator who thrives on championing people to be the best they can be. Her background in sales and marketing allows her to assist clients in aligning their objectives with strategic business goals. Since she began her own consulting company in 1991, she has held an on-going commitment to understanding her client’s needs in unison with accountability for the implementation and measurement of the results. Sue completed her professional coaching training in California, anMd then went on to obtain the designation of Master Certified Coach (MCC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF). As a member of the Toronto chapter of the ICF, Sue has played a leadership role in the design and delivery of monthly program events, special events, and bi-annual retreats.
Sue was a part of a team of coaches at the LCBO, and she also worked as a coach at the Isikkent School in Izmir Turkey. Both of these projects achieved recognitions through the ICF Prism award, which celebrates excellence and business achievement through coaching. As part of her ongoing commitment to life-long learning, Sue received certification from the Consulting Psychologists Press to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality inventory. Her focus to apply this tool within the business environment is to assist individuals in the effective management of personality differences and the impact on their working relationships.
Personal Values
Sue works in partnership with her clients to help them gain clarity of their values, reconnect with their purpose in life, put together a plan that is in alignment with their values, and then get into action to create the results they want. Sue’s business mission is to unleash the capacity of individuals to optimize their performance and achieve their personal best.
She is passionate about coaching, its benefits, and the impact that coaching skills have on the workplace. Sue’s practice continues to grow as she works with entrepreneurs to find balance between social and fiscal responsibility, with the ultimate goal of humanizing the workplace. Since Sue began her business in 1991, many clients have benefited from her coaching services and training in Canada, the United States, England, France, and Taiwan. She is excited to share her international experience with the FLOW Coaching and Leadership Institute.
